Louisiana Educator Portal (LEP) Permission Guide
Purpose: This document provides role-specific guidance on utilizing EdLink Security to access the Louisiana Educator Portal (LEP) for teacher certification purposes.
Step 1: MyLa Credentials
All users needing permissions through the EdLink Security system must have an activated MyLa account. To create your MyLa user credentials, click the link below.

Step 2: EdLink Security Account
All users must have a Staff ID to request access through EdLink Security. Authorized personnel must link your MyLa user ID with your Staff ID through eScholar StaffID.
External Partners who need a Staff ID should complete this form. The ID Management team will then create your Staff ID.
Once your EdLink Security account has been created, log in to EdLink Security with your MyLa credentials to activate your EdLink Security Registration.
Step 3: Requesting Teacher Prep Provider LEP Access
Log in to EdLink Security with your MyLa credentials and then follow the guidance below to request LEP access.

Step 4: Provider Certification Access - Teacher Prep Provider
Once reviewed and approved, you can access LEP through your EdLink Security Applications menu.
